The 2020 Audi SQ5 3.0T Premium Plus quattro is a high-performance luxury SUV designed to deliver an engaging drive, everyday comfort, and advanced technology. Finished in Daytona Gray Pearl with a Black leather interior, it features Audi's renowned quattro all-wheel drive, a 3.0L TFSI engine, and an 8-speed automatic with Tiptronic, combining sporty character with versatility for family or solo adventures.
This SUV suits buyers seeking a proven blend of dynamic capability, upscale features, and functional utility. Its all-wheel drive system and adaptive suspension provide confidence across changing weather and road surfaces, making it a strong choice for those in St. Louis and similar climates. The Premium Plus trim ensures elevated comfort and technology, while the Cold Weather Package and rear air conditioning cater to seasonal and family needs. Ample cargo flexibility and a folding rear seat make it practical for errands or trips.
Equipped with a 3.0L TFSI engine and paired to an 8-speed automatic with Tiptronic, the SQ5 delivers responsive acceleration and seamless gear changes. The adaptive suspension balances sporty handling with everyday ride comfort, making commuting, city driving, and highway cruising equally enjoyable. quattro all-wheel drive enhances grip and composure, especially in rain or light snow, while the sport steering wheel and speed-sensing steering contribute to a confident, engaging driving experience.
Safety is prioritized through a comprehensive set of active and passive systems. Standard ABS brakes and electronic stability control help maintain control in emergency maneuvers, while multiple airbags (including dual front, side, and overhead) offer protection in the event of a collision. The exterior parking camera rear, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, and blind spot monitoring features make daily driving and parking easier and safer, particularly in busy urban settings.
The Premium Plus trim includes a suite of high-value features such as the Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System, Audi smartphone interface supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, and automatic temperature control. The Convenience Package adds a power liftgate and keyless entry, while the Cold Weather Package features elements like heated steering wheel and additional comfort enhancements. Fine Nappa leather, Carbon Atlas Inlays, and a panoramic sunroof elevate interior ambiance and usability.
Compared to segment rivals like the BMW X3 M40i and Mercedes-AMG GLC 43, the SQ5 stands out for its cohesive blend of performance, technology, and interior refinement. While the BMW emphasizes sharp handling and the Mercedes offers a plush cabin, the SQ5's adaptive suspension and quattro all-wheel drive deliver a balanced drive that excels in varied conditions. Its standard features and premium audio system further enhance value against these alternatives.
